Aston Villa secured their first European silverware in 44 years, defeating SC Freiburg 3-0 in Istanbul .
This victory marked the Premier League team's first trophy since 1996.
It was also Aston Villa's first European final since Prince William was born.
The Prince, a devoted fan, was observed cheering enthusiastically during the match.
