Watch as mystery light spotted zooming across skies in Greater Manchester

Video footage has captured the moment a mysterious object flew across the sky in Tyldesley.

The bright light was snapped near Tyldesley Health Centre on Poplar Street just before 9pm on Tuesday (September 21).

Paul Ellison was stargazing when he spotted the object, which appeared to be moving at a fast pace.

The 50-year-old said he was looking up at “just the right moment” and managed to capture the sighting with his camera.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , he said: “I don't have a clue (what it could be).

"I knew it couldn't be International Space Station because it was moving too fast.

"It's hard to get stuff like this in the right time and right place.

"It's definitely too fast for the International Space Station and it's a different shape as well."
