A Musselburgh woman racked up thousands of views on Facebook after her live street performance of 'Somewhere over the Rainbow'
Lorraine McBrearty, a part-time dentist and singer from Musselburgh, took to the streets to belt out the tune in hopes of putting a smile on the faces of locals.
The street concert went down a treat with locals, with one person saying she had "a lump in her throat and tears in their eyes" from the performance.
The singing sensation told Edinburgh Live: "I sing professionally in a band called Back 'n' Blue.
"I have a Patsy Cline tribute act too - Patsy Cline and country stars cabaret"
"However my day jobs are a part-time dentist and part-time church family worker for the Church of Scotland."
She continued: " I was just trying to cheer folk up by doing a small thing, I'll be popping out every Thursday until we are back to normal."
In the video, locals can be heard clapping to celebrate the lockdown performance.
One local said: "Looking forward to next week's already. Lovely voice and perfect song."
Another said: "Fantastic Lorraine. So emotional. I got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes."
