Here is the shocking moment two men working in a north Dublin pub apprehended a young man suspected to have attempted a robbery in the area.
The two men sprung into action to fight off the suspect who is alleged to have entered the licensed premises in Finglas with a screwdriver.
One of whom received a stabbing injury to the hand during the course of the incident, Dublin Live reports.
Just minutes before this struggle was caught on camera, the two men are said to have witnessed the young suspect in his 20s entering the premises and demanding money from the till.
Scenes spilled out onto the street with the two members of the public attempting to restrain the man on the ground who fled the scene on foot empty-handed.
One of the men received a stabbing injury during the course of the incident and the two men were taken to hospital as a precaution but have since been released.
Gardai told Dublin Live that they have since charged a man in relation to this incident.
He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today.
A spokeswoman said: "We have arrested and charged a man, aged in his 20s, in relation to the attempted robbery of a licensed premises in Finglas, yesterday evening.
"At 8.30pm, the man entered the premises armed with a screwdriver. He proceeded to threaten a member of staff while demanding the contents of the till.
"Two members of the public attempted to restrain the man and he fled the scene on foot. No cash or property was taken."
She added: "Gardaí arrested the man and took him to Blanchardstown Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. He was later charged in relation to this incident and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today."
