Watch as massive explosion heard over Leith as fire engines rush to blaze

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have brought a fire in Bonnington under control after locals reported hearing as many as four explosions over Leith.

Local resident Wayne Keeble posted a video on Twitter showing the fire service and Police Scotland in attendance.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to Edinburgh Live that it had mobilised four fire engines as well as a high rise appliance to the scene at around 6:15pm.

It is understood the fire is now extinguished and no injuries were reported from the scene.
