Acrobat shows off tightrope walking skills outside Tennent's brewery as pubs reopen

When all of the rest of us were in the beer gardens this weekend, one man rose above it all - literally.

In a genius spot from one of our Glasgow Live readers, this man was filmed outside the Tennent's Brewery in Glasgow's east end walking a tightrope.

These guys are usually spotted in a troupe at Kelvingrove Park, however this lone ranger decided to entertain the punters with a spot of lone rope-walking outside the brewery.

He walked with speed and grace, even at times with the balance of a ballet dancer!

We've previously reported on Glaswegian's tight-rope walking and slack-line walking skills, including the work of talented talented Glasgow University student Zigi Russell-Smith.

No stranger to displaying his skills, Zigi, who represents the West of Scotland at club level in the sport, has taken on some impressive challenges over the years, including a cliff to cliff slackline walk with a harness.

The activity is similar to slack rope walking or tightrope walking but the equipment uses different materials and tensions.

Whilst we never got close enough to our lone Tennent's walker to find out what his skills were, he definitely impressed us - and those in the pub.
