A Barton Hill mum has described the moment a man put on a concert for his quarantined neighbours from his back garden.
Coronavirus lockdown measures mean thousands of people across the country face being confined to small flats - a daunting prospect for those with young children.
However, some people in Bristol are doing their best to provide a little respite from the difficult times that their neighbours are going through.
Joanna Hennings, 28, was in the kitchen of her flat on Tuesday afternoon (April 7) when she heard live music from nearby and went to her doorway to find out what was happening.
The mum-of-two was then surprised to learn one of her neighbours had begun a one-man music show to entertain people living nearby, which ended up lasting around an hour and a half.
"There were loads of people listening from their flats and quite a few people on the balconies," she told Bristol Live .
"It really brought the community together - I haven't seen anything like that here before."
Joanna went on to say it was an uplifting moment for the families and neighbours who have been struggling during the lockdown.
"It's been a real struggle considering I live in a block of flats," she said. "I have nowhere to go out.
"I have no garden and two young children. They don't have a real understanding of what's happening.
"He made a really nice atmosphere for us - you could hear everyone clapping."
