Lennon Miller was handed his first start for Udinese tonight - and capped it with his first goal.
The Scotland cap completed a stunning £4.7million move to the Italian side from Motherwell over the summer, choosing that as his destination after being courted by several big clubs.
It was a club record fee for the Fir Park side and for the player a chance to develop overseas, joining a club where he felt he had a chance of continuing to get significant minutes.
He has had to be patient and remained an unused substitute for the first three matches since signing. But he finalyly got his debut at the weekend - and it came against the might of AC Milan in a 3-0 defeat.

Playing for just nine minutes in that one, the 19-year-old got more meaningful action this evening when selected from the start for a Coppa Italia tie against Serie B side Palermo.
Playing in his favoure central midfield role, he managed to get on the scoresheet just before half-time. Nicolo Zanolio had given Udinese the lead on 41 minutes and Miller added to that four minutes later.

He called for the ball in the box as Jakub Piotrowski battled down the right hand side, but the Pole opted to cross for the near post instead. However, it eventually found its way to the young Scot and he remained calm to nod it into the net.
Up next for Udinese is Josh Doig's Sassuolo on Sunday and Miller will hope he has done enough to feature again.
