Watch as Leeds United's Raphinha shows what Premier League safety means to him

Leeds United's mercurial Brazilian Raphinha demonstrated how precious Premier League survival was to him by jumping into the away end after the final whistle was blown on his team's 2-1 triumph at Brentford.

The 25-year-old fans' favourite celebrated with the Whites' equally ecstatic travelling faithful by bouncing up and down shirt-less and twirling a Brazilian flag in the air - a memorable moment that was captured by the Sky Sports cameras.

Raphinha was excellent against the Bees and crowned a brilliant season for himself individually by winning and converting a 58th-minute penalty to open the scoring and help United on their way to the victory which proved enough to beat the drop as Burnley lost by the same scoreline against Newcastle.

Leeds survived scares along the way with Brentford, who were down to 10 men when Kristoffer Ajer was injured after the hosts had made all their subs, levelling on 78 minutes through Sergi Canos, but the man who got the equaliser was then red carded for taking off his shirt in celebration.

There were no such reprimands for a jersey-less Raphinha, though, as he celebrated Jack Harrison's stoppage-time winner in exuberant fashion afterwards.

The South American ace has been the stand-out performer during a difficult campaign for Leeds, scoring 13 goals in 41 outings.

It is hoped that Premier League survival and the joy and love Raphinha will have experienced in the visitors' end at the Brentford Community Stadium can now stave off the threat of a departure for Barcelona this summer.
