Watch as Ireland fans belt out 'Ireland's Call' on flight ahead of New Zealand quarter-final

Irish fans were in buoyant mood this morning as they began the long journey to Japan for Ireland's blockbuster World Cup quarter-final.

The All Blacks beckon and Joe Schmidt's side will be hoping that there'll be a travelling green army in Tokyo on Saturday morning as Ireland eye a first-ever World Cup semi-final.

And the party was already underway this morning as fan's broke out in song on board a Cathay Pacific flight from Dublin destined for Hong Kong.

In the video, over 200 fans appear to belt out the anthem in the impromptu sing-song before the doors were closed for the 12-hour flight.

A Cathay Pacific employee, who captured the video, told the Irish Mirror: "The atmosphere and buzz this morning was fantastic, so with (the flight) having over 200 Irish supporters on the same flight is pretty special and I had to capture it".
