Watch as Ian McCall rips Partick Thistle duo and offers 'apology to all fans' for gormless interview

Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall offered a sincere apology to the club's fans following their 6-1 win over Hamilton - for a gormless post-match interview.

The Jags took their Championship rivals apart on their own pitch with a stunning display that had the large travelling support in raptures.

The match was broadcast live on BBC Scotland, meaning viewers across the nation were able to tune in to the demolition.

Zak Rudden hit a double while Scott Tiffoney got in on the act in the second half, and it was that pair who were asked to do the post-match media duties.

The Thistle pair were followed up by their manager Ian McCall, who felt moved to immediately apologise.

He said: "Can I just say, I cannot BELIEVE you got Rudden and Tiffoney.

"Can I apologise to all Partick Thistle fans for their media performance? Because I can imagine what it was like.

"Their combined IQ is about 100."

The pair didn't take it to heart though, taking to social media to agree with what their manager had said.

Tiffoney wrote: "Who let me and Rudden on camera?", with his team-mate admitting they were 'space cadets'.
