Watch as Hibs frustrated in goalless draw at Ross County as Easter Road side curse missed chances

Hibernian were left frustrated by Ross County in their Premiership clash at Dingwall as the Easter Road side failed to make their chances pay in a goalless draw.

The men in green and white were unable to force an effort beyond an inspired Ross Doohan between the sticks despite having 27 attempts on goal.

Kyle Magennis was inches away from his first goal for the Leith outfit when he struck the frame of the goal and Kevin Nisbet saw his shot cleared off the line inside the opening 15 minutes.

Martin Boyle should have done better when presented with an opening only to shoot wide, while Nisbet and Christian Doidge were foiled by Staggies stopper Doohan in the second period.

The Celtic loanee made a smart stop from Paul Hanlon late on and despite the hosts being reduced to ten men with eleven minutes remaining, the Hibees were held to a stalemate for the second time this campaign.

Despite the result, manager Jack Ross said he was pleased with the overall performance from his side, adding; "You will very rarely play well for 90 minutes but for 70 minutes, we were good, even in the other 20 minutes, we were still solid and didn’t look like we were going to concede.

"Defensively we were good and creatively we were good, we just didn’t put the ball in the back of the net."
