Watch as herd of cows roam Kilmarnock streets leaving residents baffled

Kilmarnock residents have been left udderly speechless after discovering a herd of cows in their quiet street today.

The large group of animals were filmed peering through a living room window on the Southcraigs estate before mooving on to another house.

One resident, Morna Miller, who shot the footage, said that she was just lying on the sofa when she heard a mooing sound.

She told the Kilmarnock Standard: "I was lying on my couch and I heard this rumbling outside and then there was a mooing sound coming from the front of the house.

"I got up and saw that these cows were just casually strolling around the street.

"My dog Lottie was barking at them and then they moved off.

"Police are here at the moment and I think they're trying to stop them from causing too much damage in the street."

Nobody knows where the cows came from but the estate in question, close to Glasgow Road, is surrounded by farmland.

Another resident said: "Did I just see a herd of cows at Wallacetown park? Late for work so couldn't stop, or was I seeing things?"
