Watch as Glasgow dad puts on 15 jumpers to avoid overweight luggage charge at airport

The fear of your suitcase being overweight at the airport is something we can all relate to.

And having to pay for the excess baggage infuriates many of us, but for one Glasgow man he had other ideas instead of coughing up.

The quick-thinking dad decided to open his bag at the check-in desk and wear the clothes that were tipping his luggage over the scales.

After turning up in just a t-shirt to catch his flight he soon had more t-shirts, shirts and jumpers on than he could have imagined.

His son Josh Irvine, who filmed the whole thing on Snapchat, was in stitches as his dad whipped on about 15 extra layers so he could avoid being charged.

He captioned first clip: "Suitcase is too heavy so ma da's just puttin all the clothes on."
