Fernando Ricksen's daughter Isabella made a surprise visit to the Rangers legend's bedside on the eve of his 43rd birthday.
The star is currently in a hospice in Airdrie where he continues his battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
In a sweet video shared by his wife Veronika, their daughter Isabella, 7, can be seen waiting outside of his bedroom.
She runs into the room and over to her dad's bed, putting her head on top of him.
Fernando can be seen looking delighted at the camera as the family enjoy a reunion.
Veronika previously told how she was worried the family would miss his birthday because trips from Spain to Scotland were becoming difficult to pay for.
Sharing the video on Instagram she wrote: "Here we are again all together. These two sooo happy so see each other. Tommorow big day and surprise for Fernando we made."
Social media users were quick to respond with supportive messages for the family.

Fernando is in the final stages with motor neurone disease having been diagnosed in 2013.
