It comes days after we reported that Windass had completed a course to take his first step towards becoming a sporting director.
Despite having only just signed a three-year deal, it appears Windass is already preparing for when his playing career eventually comes to an end.
On Instagram, the Englishman shared a photo of a diploma he had earned following two years of "relatively hard work".
Windass was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship from the University of Portsmouth.
