With just eight minutes on the clock, Kyogo nudged his marker off the ball and then sent a classy lobbed finish into the net.
However, his celebrations were cut short after he was adjudged to have fouled Jacob Greaves before applying the finishing touch.
Kyogo had made contact with the Ipswich defender as he looked to clear the ball, with the officials deeming it a foul.

Despite the disallowed goal, Birmingham would go on to take the league in the Championship contest.
Jay Stansfield opened the scoring in the 55th minute for the newly promoted club, who have been tipped for a big season back in the Championship.
However, they would be denied a victory in their first match of the campaign as Scotland striker George Hirst levelled for Ipswich deep into stoppage time.
