An Edinburgh mum has railed against a thief that stole her children’s scooter from their doorstep in the Broomhouse area of the capital.
The mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, had managed to capture the culprit stealing the child’s scooter through her doorbell camera on Broomhouse Street South.
The thief is understood to have made off with the £74 Story Diablo Stunt Scooter from the mother of fives front door in the west of Edinburgh on the night of Friday November 19.

But little did the culprit know that they had been caught red handed on camera.
The mother of five said that around four scooters were at the entrance of their home but that the brazen bandit had taken the most expensive item.
In the video you can see what appears to be a man wearing a grey cotton tracksuit with his hood up.
Unfortunately you are unable to see his face as he makes his way down to the doorstep before he snatches the child's scooter and scurries out of the family’s garden.
On the ordeal, the mum said: “I didn’t get told until Sunday night after my work at around 10pm but it got nicked on the Friday night."
“To the wee tramp that stole the scooter from Broomhouse St South, I hope you’re happy ya tramp.”
