Watch as Edinburgh rock choir takes over multi-storey car park for stirring performance

A talented Edinburgh choir packed out a multi-storey car park in the city for a stirring performance.

The Rock Choir descended on the Ocean Terminal in Leith on Wednesday night to perform Shallow, the song made famous by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in A Star is Born.

More than a thousand people have since viewed the three-and-a-half minute video, which was shared to Facebook by the Rock Choir Glasgow Southside and West End, Kirkintilloch and Edinburgh.

Many people expressed their approval, commenting on the incredible acoustics created inside the multi-storey.

Sharon Mcmanus posted: "Sounds gorgeous and the acoustics in the car park are fab. You all sound like angels."

Myra Ralston added: "Goosebumps. sounded amazing."

Anne McCann commented: "Sounds absolutely fabulous, well done everyone."

The Rock Choir is described as "the UK's original and award-winning contemporary choir". The have groups all across the UK.

It's been a while without any official live music performances but songs have still been spreading cheer across the Scottish capital in recent weeks.

Edinburgh Live reported last week how couples broke into a spontaneous dance party on Princes Street as a live band took advantage of the Spaces for People road closure to perform for locals.
