Edinburgh weather: Watch as local filmed skiing over jumps on city centre street

With current lockdown advice encouraging us only to leave the house for exercise, Edinburgh locals have been getting creative when it comes to working out following this week's heavy snowfall courtesy of Storm Darcy.

In footage shared by Edinburgh bar and restaurant Little White Pig, two Edinburgh residents can be seen speeding down Dublin Street on skis - and they even made a makeshift jump to soar over.

The keen skiers filmed one another hurtling down the city centre street and racing over solid snowy jumps.

The venue wrote in a post on Instagram: "There was a fabulous display of skiing on Dublin Street today!

"Keep it coming Edinburgh, loving the snow bringing out the creativity in people."

The post attracted an influx of comments with locals clearly impressed with the cool video of the pair.

"If life gives you lemons!", one wrote.

Yesterday Victoria Street art shop 'Red Door Gallery' captured footage of another enthusiastic skier zooming down their iconic city centre street.
