Watch as Dundrum shoppers stopped in their tracks by Tallaght choir's The Lion King flashmob

Shoppers at the Dundrum Town Centre were in for a lovely surprise as a Dublin based choir broke into a Lion King flash mob performance on Sunday.

Tallaght’s The Arabella Voices captivated several hundred customers by singing the classic Disney film’s Circle of Life and Pride Rock.

The 55 member choir’s performance came as The Lion King will be releasing in cinemas this Friday.

Disney’s remake of the iconic 90s film will include big names such as Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogan, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard as well as James Earl Jones who returns as the voice of Mufasa.

Music Hans Zimmer said: “I knew we had a story to tell. It didn’t really matter if you didn’t understand the words, you knew that whatever they were, they were incredibly important.

"The story is still vital, and we have to make people hear it.”

Odeon Cinemas is offering a special deal including Grown Ups Pay Kids’ Prices with the family ticket (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children) and for the older kids in the family Odeon has its teen ticket price.
