Watch as dozens of teens flood out of Waterford house as gardai break up party

This is the moment dozens of teenagers flooded out of a house party in Waterford at the weekend.

Gardai were called to the gathering in Templar's Hall, Co. Waterford on Saturday night after reports of a party.

A number of officers arrived at the door and asked the owners of the property to get everyone out.

Video footage widely circulated on social media shows the teenagers spill out of the house in their droves as gardai watched on.

Gardai recorded no offences and said the house owners were compliant with their advice.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí responded to reports of a number of persons gathered at a residential premises in Templar’s Hall, Co. Waterford on Saturday, 27 June 2020 at approximately 8.30pm.

"On arrival, the scene was cleared by the owners of the premises. No offences disclosed."

Up until Sunday midnight you could meet up to six people from outside your household both indoors and outdoors for social gatherings.

As of Monday that rule changed so you can meet up to 50 people indoors or up to 200 outdoors.
