Watch as dogs cruise down Glasgow canal on paddle boards

The fantastic weather and lessening of the lockdown restrictions has encouraged practically the whole of Glasgow to get out and soak up the sun.

With the city resembling one more akin to a place on the Costa Del Sol than in Western Scotland on the banks of the River Clyde.

And among those out enjoying themselves today were two dogs spotted looking cool as cucumbers sailing down the Forth and Clyde Canal in Maryhill.

Both were on paddle boards being paddled down the canal earlier today by a local, who shared videos of them on Twitter under the captions 'Costa Del Maryhill' and 'Riviera'.

Dogs taken for paddle-board down Maryhill canal

The idyllic setting on the canal and the fun videos are a world away from what happened last night in Maryhill not too far away from there.

With 12 youths charged between the ages of 12 and 16 following a disturbance in the Wynford area.
