A Scottish holidaymaker has been spotted sliding down an Ibiza street on a lilo amid torrential downpours on the popular island destination.
Footage shows the man dressed in nothing but a pair of swimming shorts as the unseasonable weather is in full swing on Monday, August 12.
The unknown daredevil can be seen taking a huge taking a huge run up before skidding along a street as the Balearic island is being battered by heavy rainfall.
Onlookers also take to their mobile phone as the man on his essential beach item travels along the flooded surface.
Louis Tominey tweeted a clip of the hilarious stunt.
The Glaswegian captioned the video: “First day in Ibiza going well.”
His tweet has since gone viral with more than 8,000 people liking it while a further 550 have retweeted it across the social media website.
Many people with plans to visit the island took to Twitter to make comments about the unwelcoming weather conditions.
Melissa Donaldson said: “Right, Ibiza is cancelled.”
Conor Duffy added: “Ideal, hopefully calmed down by the time I go.”
Danielle Fairlie said: “Packing my travel dominoes and cards just in case.”
Met Office forecasters predict that the weather will remain sunny and very hot over the next seven days in Ibiza.
So, continue packing your swimming costumes and put those waterproofs back in cupboard for when you return back to Scotland .
