Christy Moore gave a rousing performance to the Irish rugby team on Wednesday night.
The legendary singer played for an hour to the squad as they gear up for the World Cup in Japan later this month.
Irish prop Cian Healy said on Instagram: "The great and powerful Christy Moore came into the squad tonight!
"An amazing hour of music topped off by this song for me. The only person I listen to more than Johnny Cash, is Christy Moore. Awesome version of 'Hurt'."
Ireland will be hoping they can perform some heroics in Japan and perhaps inspire Moore to pen a song about their journey.
Moore famously wrote "Joxer Goes to Stuttgart" around the Republic of Ireland's famous victory over England at Euro 1998 in Germany.
The rugby lads welcome Wales to the Aviva this Saturday before they board the plane to Japan ahead of their World Cup opener against Scotland on the 22 September.
