Watch as Cheryl left in hysterics after being pranked on live radio by 'superfan'

Cheryl was left in hysterics after being pranked on live radio in a quiz about herself with a 'superfan' named 'Steve'.

The Geordie singer appeared on Scott Mills' Radio 1 show on Wednesday, when the radio presenter asked her and the fan some questions.

But the superfan on the phone was actually Mills' fellow presenter Chris Stark hiding in the next room.

Cheryl and 'Steve' were asked questions and had to call out their name the quickest before answering the question.

The first question was: "What was Cheryl's first number one solo single?"

Chris said: "Steve... Fight For This Love."

The next was "What breed of animal is Cheryl's beloved pet dog Buster?"

Chris and Cheryl both called out and Cheryl said: "Chihuahua."

When Scott said Cheryl had already got that one, Chris said: "I think I was first."

Chris then said: "Gay!" and Scott said: "Did you just said gay? Cheryl, is your pet gay?"

She replied: "I think so, but I don't know how he could know that."

Cheryl then broke down in hysterical laughter and wiped her eyes with a tissue when Chris confirmed that his answer was "gay".

He then amused her further by declaring Nadine Coyle was the Girls Aloud member who won FHM's World's Sexiest Woman back in 2009, when it was in fact, Cheryl.
