Watch as Celtic transfer target Kristijan Lovric scores stunner in Croatian league

Celtic target Kristijan Lovric scored a stunner for Gorica but couldn't stop his side being beaten 3-1 by Hajduk Split.

The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Parkhead this summer, though Serie A side Verona are also believed to be keen.

The 25-year-old winger is understood to be on Celtic 's radar and he increased excitement levels among the Parkhead support when he started following the club on social media.

Lovric has emerged as a star for current club Gorica and it's understood they have placed a valuation of around £5m for a player who has netted 34 goals in the past two seasons.

While Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada have already arrived, it hasn't stopped fans speculating that the Croat talent could be next in the door.

And he showed what he can do, albeit in defeat, as Gorica took on Hajduk Split.

Just 10 minutes into the second half of the match, with his team 2-0 down, the winger took a ball down in the box before shuffling away from his man and finishing powerfully on his left foot.

A deal could still be in the offing, with Gorica believed to be close to signing Benito of Dynamo Kiev.

The 22-year-old plays in the same left wing position as Lovric, and his arrival could free the Croat to move to Celtic.
