Celtic's Adam Montgomery scored on his loan debut for Livingston yesterday afternoon as they defeated Kelty Hearts 6-0 in the Premier Sports Cup.
The left-back joined the West Lothian outfit for the season earlier this week, marking his sixth temporary spell away from Parkhead.
Just over 24 hours after making the move to Almondvale, Montgomery was thrust into the Livi lineup as they took on Kelty.
Andy Winter opened the scoring within the first minute for Martindale's men, a strike which ultimately opened the floodgates.

Indeed, just 25 minutes after Livi took the lead, Montgomery doubled their advantage, latching on to a smart through pass before finishing well past Corey Armour in the opposition net. It was just the third senior goal of the 23-year-old's career.

Despite their victory yesterday, Montgomery's team are not guaranteed a place in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup, and will have to wait until this afternoon's fixtures pan out to discover their fate.
Livi kick off their league campaign next weekend, when they travel to face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Montgomery will be keen to feature after making a storming start to his loan spell.
The former Scotland under-21 international spent the second half of last season at Queen's Park, where he made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish Championship side.
