Watch as Celine Dion tours Edinburgh in the 1980s in lost cheesy music video

A video has resurfaced that appears to show Celine Dion belting out “Lolita” on the cobbled streets of Scotland’s capital in the 80’s.

The video appeared on a recent Edinburgh Reddit post and the person sharing the post believes it to be one of Celine’s earliest music videos.

The French-Canadian singer looks to be enjoying herself as she stoats about the city centre, taking in the sights around her.

Since the video is shot in the Old Town, there are a lot of similarities with Edinburgh then and now, but if you keep an eye out for the cars - or to be fair relics with wheels - in the background then you are quickly transported back in time.

If that doesn’t do the trick, then the graphics sliding across a wall by the Royal Mile will certainly take you back.

The video opens with a shot of an old school Lothian bus with the maroon and white finish.

You can also see a young Celine battle through the crowds as she attempts to cross the road in front of the Balmoral as well as enjoying herself down by Dean Valley.

With her love of public transport and the now retro black cabs, it appears as if she was here, with nothing to fear, whilst shooting the music video.

Dion is the best-selling Canadian recording artist in history with hits such as My Heart Will Go on from the blockbuster Titanic.

You can watch the video here.
