Watch as camera-shy fraudster makes sharp exit from court disguised by Aldi bag

This how a former company director who admitted fraud ended her day in court.

Sharon Kent donned a blue Aldi shopping bag on her head and wore her friend's camouflage coat as she made a swift exit from Bristol Crown Court.

She was then spirited away into the heart of the city.

A few hours earlier she was handed a suspended jail term for fiddling just under £50,000 in benefit.

Mrs Kent and her friend appeared to be camera-shy after clocking a Bristol Live reporter outside.

Such was their reluctance to leave it looked like a bit of a long haul wait.

But, having changed jackets, her friend collected a VW car and Kent emerged into Small Street in an imaginative, if none-too-subtle disguise.

And Bristol Live captured it for posterity.

The court heard she was "entirely remorseful" after swindling some £50,000 from the state.

Perhaps this is her way of showing it.

Bristol Live would like to remind readers that it is inadvisable to place plastic bags over their heads in case of accidental suffocation.
