There will be no nerve-shredding final day drama for the Gunners, with their engrossing, topsy-turvy battle with Manchester City now at an official end with one round of matches to spare.
After so many heartaches and near-misses under Mikel Arteta’s management, Arsenal have finally realised their title dream and ended a 22-year wait for top-flight glory.
After Kai Havertz netted the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over already relegated Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night, City travelled to face high-flying Bournemouth 24 hours later knowing that only a victory would do in order to take things down to the weekend.
But they could only manage a disappointing 1-1 draw on the south coast, with Erling Haaland’s stoppage-time effort not enough to spark a last-gasp comeback after Eli Junior Kroupi had expertly fired the Europe-bound Cherries into a half-time lead.
It was an agonising wait for the full-time whistle at the Vitality Stadium for Arsenal’s expectant fans, many of whom quickly descended upon the Emirates to celebrate finally bringing two decades of hurt to a halt.
And it was not just the supporters that were celebrating, with Arsenal posting video footage of their players also gathered to mark a superb achievement.

The most entertaining clip shows Arsenal’s first-team squad and staff assembled at their London Colney training base, all congregated together to watch the closing stages of City’s clash with Bournemouth.
The players were clearly desperate for the final whistle, which was greeted by a deafening roar as they bounced around the room and hugged each other in euphoric scenes that will live long in the memory for everyone associated with the club.
Centre-back Gabriel breaks away from the group momentarily to celebrate in front of the cameras, with Eberechi Eze seen up on a chair filming proceedings on his phone before a chant of ‘championes championes ole ole ole’ echoes throughout.
Declan Rice is in the middle of the celebratory mass with his phone, subsequently uploading a picture to his official Instagram page with Eze, Havertz, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba, along with a caption that read: “I told you all.. it’s done.”
Arsenal’s players were then seen celebrating with a cardboard replica of the Premier League trophy, with a formal presentation to take place with the real thing following Sunday’s last game of the season against Conference League finalists Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Arsenal will show off the trophy during an open-top bus parade on Sunday, May 31, hoping to do likewise with the Champions League trophy at the same time as they take on holders Paris Saint-Germain in the biggest game in European club football in Budapest the night before.
