Watch Arsenal and Celtic legend Charlie Nicholas make awkward joke in bizarre Sky Sports moment

Charlie Nicholas is at it again.

The Arsenal and Celtic legend has gone viral in the past with his bizarre Specsavers joke at the expense of Sky Sports News host Jeff Stelling, and he had a similarly awkward moment this evening.

Nicholas was covering Manchester United's match against West Ham on Sky Sports News, and had a dig at host Jim White.

Nicholas said: "This game probably reminds me of your wallet Jim. It doesn't open every often."

Then silence. Painful silence.

Nicholas, who made 254 appearances for Celtic over two spells and played 184 times for Arsenal, has form.

When Soccer Saturday host Stelling suggested Nicholas should go to Specsavers, the former Scotland international famously replied: "Well, maybe you should go also then Jeff because eh, you couldn't see driving home the other night, because you've, you don't even wear your glasses in, in eh, TV incase you get, you get slagged off so, why don't you just eh, you just stick to Specsavers and I'll do the game."

The footage of his latest attempt was uploaded to Twitter by @Vertigo_RM with the caption: "Charlie's banter going down well as usual."

The comments featured several gifs of rolling tumbleweed.
