WATCH: Antonio Brown turns to Twitter to chase helmet loophole

A day after the NFL denied Antonio Brown’s grievance regarding his old helmet, the receiver has turned to Twitter to chase a loophole.

Tuesday morning he put out an all-call for a Schutt Air Advantage helmet manufactured in 2010 or later, which would make it compliant with NFL safety rules. The National Operating Commission on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) does not certify helmets that are 10 years or older, so he’d have one or two seasons left to enjoy the model he loves so much, depending on when it was made.

But, per USA Today Sports, that model was discontinued in 2011, potentially making it a tough find for the Twitterverse.

The lucky person to find this helmet in the rough will win … a signed helmet. Neat.
