WATCH: Anthony Davis has no regrets about his midseason trade request

Anthony Davis still doesn’t regret asking the New Orleans Pelicans for a trade in the middle of the 2018-19 season.

He said as much on Saturday after he was officially introduced as a Los Angeles Laker. Davis told ESPN in an interview that plenty of people got in his ear about what he should have done, but he knew what he wanted and how he wanted to go about it.

“I’ve been in the league long enough,” Davis said. “I’m a grown man. I know what I want.”

Davis also maintained that he was helping out the Pelicans by giving them a heads-up and allowing them to work out the best possible trade.
