Watch angry Stephen Nolan woken by herd of cows staring through his window

This is the startling moment broadcaster Stephen Nolan thought his home was being 'raided by the British Army' when, in fact, it was a herd of cows.

The BBC presenter took to social media this morning to vent his fury at the 'chaos' which ensued when the cattle broke onto his land.

He posted: "I thought I was getting raided by the British army. I woke up to sound of heavy footsteps and banging on my door. Cows broke into my site. Set off alarms, which sent call to security team. Total mayhem. Dirty brutes. I’m furious."

The animals can be seen staring into the glass-fronted living area of Nolan's picturesque home by the water.

Sharing footage of himself chasing the animals off his property, the Nolan Live presenter can be seen banging the windows at the cows who have set off his house alarms before he runs out into the driveway shirtless to chase them.

The 45-year-old has been on a health kick since earlier this year and has revealed he is on a mission to weigh under 15 stone by July.

He's been keeping his followers on social media up to date with his progress in the gym sharing post-workout selfies and photos of his new slimmer figure in clothes.
