MANILA, Philippines – After the success of live action/animated romance Saving Sally, director Avid Liongoren is back in the director's chair with Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story The Movie, an animated comedy produced by Piolo Pascual's Spring Films.
The film follows Nimfa, a cat who sells perfume at a department store, and is caught in between her love for her askal janitor boyfriend Roger, and the dashing business dog Iñigo.
Aside from Avid's animations, Hayop Ka is also driven by a star-studded voice cast, with Angelica Panganiban as Nimfa, Robin Padilla as Roger, Sam Milby as Iñigo, and Empoy Marquez and Arci Muñoz in supporting roles.
There's no word yet on when the film will be released, with the teaser only saying that it is "coming as soon as possible." – Rappler.com
