Angela Rayner let her hair down on Friday night by showing off her dance moves behind the turntables at a charity DJ battle in Manchester.
The deputy leader of the Labour Party posted a video on Twitter on Saturday showing herself jumping up and down and waving her arms to the 90s rave classic Set You Free by N-Trance.
The video shows a packed dance floor clearly enjoying the MP for Ashton-under-Lyne’s moves and set.
Alongside the footage, Ms Rayner tweeted: “Just can't be doing a DJ set without a bit of Oldham’s very own N-Trance.”
The event was organised by the mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, to raise money for his A Bed Every Night scheme to tackle homelessness.

During the “battle” Mr Burnham faced off against Steve Rotheram, the mayor of the Liverpool City Region in a Manchester versus Liverpool clash.
At the end of the clip posted by Ms Rayner, one of the DJs can be heard declaring: “I think we’ve won. I think Manchester’s won.”
Photos from the event show Ms Rayner on stage alongside Mr Burnham, Mr Rotheram and The Royle Family actress, Sue Johnston.
A Bed Every Night provides emergency beds, food and support to help people move into permanent accommodation. Since launching in 2018 it has helped over 4,000 people.
