Watch: Andrew Whitworth pushes a truck in offseason workout

Andrew Whitworth is entering his 16th NFL season at the age of 39 and though he missed seven games last year, he remains one of the premier left tackles in football. He hasn’t made it almost two decades in the NFL by sitting back on his couch in March and April, either.

Whitworth is one of the hardest workers around, a necessity as he tries to keep his body fresh and healthy for the grind of a 16-game season – which will now become a 17-game campaign under the new schedule in 2021.

Whitworth turned his garage into a gym last year during the pandemic and this offseason, he’s resorted to pushing trucks to build up his strength. This video posted by trainer Ryan Sorensen shows Whitworth pushing a crew cab Dodge Ram pickup truck, making it look easy for a 39-year-old left tackle.

Whitworth returned from a significant knee injury last season, missing seven games during the regular season before coming back for the playoffs. His knee looks pretty strong in this video and should be back to full strength in 2021.

He’s truly the ageless one at left tackle, remaining an elite player as he approaches 40.
