Watch and re-live former Ohio State WR Parris Campbell’s first career NFL touchdown

Former Ohio State wide-receiver Parris Campbell was mostly known as a speed guy who could catch short passes and outrun opposing defenses for game-breaking plays. In fact, that’s likely why the Indianapolis Colts took a chance on him by drafting Campbell in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Ever since he hit training camp in Indy though, he’s been turning heads and impressing the coaching staff and his teammates with his all-around abilities. So much so, that he’s found himself a little niche in the Colts offense as a rookie.

His skill was on display Sunday on the road against the Tennessee Titans. Campbell ran a deep crossing route and simply outran the defender to gain separation and haul in a touchdown pass from quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the corner of the end zone.

Hopefully this is just the first of many touchdowns and highlights from the former Ohio State star. Congratulations are in order, but according to Campbell, the celebration wasn’t quite what he wanted to order up.
