Watch amazing moment Paolo Nutini gives impromptu performance in Glasgow bar

Paolo Nutini stunned punters at a Glasgow bar when he took to the stage for an impromptu gig.

The 32-year-old star belted out a number of his top hits at Saint Vincent's bar in the city centre yesterday.

It was standing room only as the Paisley crooner treated fans to a surprise performance of hits such as Candy, and Pencil Full of Lead.

He joined former X-Factor contestant Gregor Coleman for a sing song before entertaining the crowd with a special solo set.

Bar staff were thrilled to have Paolo on stage.

Bar manager Paul Heaney told the Record: "Paolo came in to Saint Vincent’s mid afternoon with his friends as part of a stag group .

"We had Gregor Coleman from the Xfactor performing.

"Paolo asked if he could join Gregor on stage to perform a few songs.

"It was a pretty surreal afternoon."

Paul added: "He's such a nice guy, he stayed for five hours as he enjoyed the pub and the hospitality."

Brilliant video clips were shared to the bar's Facebook page sending fans into meltdown.

"Our Facebook page soon went crazy after we posted the first video,"

"Before we knew it the place was mobbed, earlier than it usually would be.

"He said he will definitely be returning to Saint Vincent’s as he is a massive Celtic fan."

Fans have been waiting for the release of a follow up to Paolo's last album Caustic Love from 2014.
