Watch Ally McCoist's madcap Rangers tribute as Ibrox legend toasts Antwerp victory from studio

Rangers legend Ally McCoist has celebrated another Europa League success for Steven Gerrard's men in an outrageous Instagram clip.

The record Ibrox goalscorer was picked as part of BT Sport's punditry crew for Thursday's European action.

And he must have been watching through his fingers as the Ibrox men twice came from behind to snatch a dramatic 4-3 win in Belgium over Royal Antwerp.

Joe Aribo's opener in the first half might have tricked some fans into believing they were in for an easy ride.

But a quick one-two combination from the hosts, through a Felipe Avenatti header and Lior Refaelov's penalty, saw the side unbeaten on the continent so far trail at the break.

Borna Barisic's penalty evened things up before Martin Hongla's stunning strike handed the lead back to the Flanders club.

However with seven minutes left substitute Ryan Kent found the net before Barisic smashed another penalty past another keeper in Ortwin De Wolf, who had replaced injured Alireza Bieranvand.

And that prompted THIS bizarre social media salute from McCoist.

The former manager posted a hilarious deepfake video of himself lip-syncing to Dragostea Din Tei, also known as Numa Numa.

A number of his footballing mates shared their hilarity in the comments, including fellow ex-Rangers stars Kris Boyd and Alan Hutton along with pundit Jamie Redknapp.

It even prompted a response from the official club account, adding: "All of us tonight."
