Running back Kenyan Drake had one heck of a debut for the Arizona Cardinals. He joined the team on Monday after he was traded from the Miami Dolphins and had to learn his role in the offense in three days because the Cardinals played Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
His first play was a 36-yard run. He scored a touchdown on the first possession of the game. He finished with 15 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown. He also had four catches, which tied for the team lead, for 52 yards.
In all, it was 162 yards from scrimmage, something virtually no one could have reasonably predicted.
