WATCH: All of Drew Lock’s touchdowns from 2019 season

Tom Brady? No thanks. The Broncos already have their quarterback.

After being selected by Denver in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft, Drew Lock was sidelined for the first several months of the season with a thumb injury. Once he fully recovered and got a few weeks of practice under his belt, Lock was quickly named the team’s starting quarterback.

He didn’t disappoint.

Lock went 4-1 as a starter, tying John Elway for the most wins by a rookie quarterback in franchise history. The 23-year-old Missouri product completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 1,020 yards with seven touchdown passes against three interceptions. Lock also rushed 18 times for 72 yards.

Lock now appears poised to remain the team’s starter going into 2020.

“We’re excited about where Drew is,” Broncos general manager John Elway said during his end-of-season press conference in December. “[I] don’t like to show our hand, but I think it’s unrealistic to say that we’re going a different direction.”
