This past week, former Detroit Lions safety Glover Quin retired from the NFL after an underrated 10-year career. After spending his first four years with the Houston Texans, Quin left for Detroit in free agency and put together a six-year campaign that saw him make the Pro Bowl in 2014 after he led the league with seven interceptions.
Of his career, Quin amassed 24 interceptions, 19 of them coming when he was wearing Honolulu blue. Recently, the Lions’ media department produced a video featuring every one of them.

Highlights include:
- His first interception as a Lion sealed the victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
- With just over three minutes left in the game in New Orleans, the Saints held a six-point lead and Drew Brees was running out the clock. Then Quin baited him, picking the ball off and setting up a game-winning Matthew Stafford to Corey Fuller touchdown.
- His one-hand pick while sliding out-of-bounds against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was an absolute gem.
- Quin’s interception of Matt Ryan in Week 3 of the 2017 season was a textbook illustration of how to play safety in the NFL. The fact that he returned it for a score was the icing on the cake.
