Chase Young took the NCAA by storm in 2019 with the Ohio State Buckeyes, totaling 16.5 sacks in his final season with the team, despite missing two games. The sack number broke the OSU single-season school record and led him to win several awards and be unanimously named to the All-American team.
Watching the dominance of Young in college is extremely encouraging for fans of the Washington Redskins, as they will likely have a chance to grab him with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft next week. It stands to reason that Young will be less dominant once he starts to face off against better competition, but there is no telling what type of ceiling can be placed on him at this point.
