Watch Alfredo Morelos' Colombia goal as Rangers star finally nets for his country

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos has finally broken his Colombia duck after netting a last minute winner against Peru.

The striker bundled in the winner from a free kick in the final minute despite the best efforts of Peru goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.

Morelos was handed a start by Carlos Queiroz after impressing the former Manchester United and assistant with his form for Rangers.

His tally of 22 club goals meant he was Colombia's highest scoring striker in the squad and playing him paid off for the South American outfit.

The goal came after a delivery from the left hand side that landed on the head of the 23-year-old, but his initial effort was saved by Gallese.

But Morelos reacted quickest ahead of Tottenham's Davinson Sanchez and directed the ball back at goal and Gallese couldn't stop it before it crossed the line.

Colombia fans loved it too with one tweeting: "Deserved for Morelos, he was the best forward. The one that I look for opportunities"

Another added: "What we saw today with Morelos and the 2 Stevens I thought was excellent"

A third said: "I am happy for Morelos, a humble player that fights the whole game."
