A visitor to our city captured the moment a cheeky squirrel jumped up on the bench beside her to snack on an apple in an adorable video taken at Glasgow's Botanic Gardens.
Hollie Marie Garner, who had travelled north of the border from Hull with her partner, captured the amazing moment on her phone, with the cute critter not shy in getting in front of the camera while making quick work of a lunchtime treat.
Hollie sent the video into us after a trip to Glasgow over the weekend.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, she said: "Every time me and my partner visit Glasgow we always go around the same route at the Botanic Gardens because we love walking there and we always stop to see the squirrels and sit on a bench to watch them.
"This time there seemed a few more than usual who seemed happy to see people around, and this little one jumped up and sat next to us for a while whilst we were chatting, he obviously wanted to join in.
"After the video, the squirrel disappeared for a little while and seemed to bring a few others back with him!".
