Aaron Donald’s 2019 season was viewed as a down year by his standards, seeing his sack total drop from a DT-record 20.5 in 2018 to 12.5 last season. It wasn’t close to a disappointing performance by the five-time All-Pro, though.
Donald still led the NFL with 20 tackles for loss, was selected to the Pro Bowl and named a first-time All-Pro for the fifth straight year, dominating on the interior when not double- and triple-teamed.
No pass rusher commands more attention from the opposing team than Donald, which makes his yearly output even more impressive.
