Watch: Aaron Donald not taking any time off, working out in Pittsburgh

No team had a longer 2018 season than the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots. From August to February, they were playing games almost every single week, grinding through what turned out to be a 26-week season including byes.

For that reason, it’s easy to understand why players take time off after the season and either go on vacation (Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks), return home (Todd Gurley) or just relax for a while. Aaron Donald falls into none of those categories.

The reigning two-time Defensive Player of the Year takes no time off and hasn’t stopped working since the Rams’ Super Bowl loss. This was Donald two weeks after the game, training in Pittsburgh.

It’s no wonder he looks the way he does.

The training didn’t stop there, either. He’s still back in Pittsburgh training despite being just a month removed from the Super Bowl and six months away from playing his next regular-season game.

Take a look at these videos of Donald showing off his footwork.

He’s so much faster and quicker than anyone else in the videos, which makes him so dangerous on the field. His agility at that size, paired with his power, is a recipe for success and it’s exactly why he’s won two straight Defensive Player of the Year awards.

Most recently, this video was shared on Thursday.

Donald is bound to make a strong push to become the first player ever to win Defensive Player of the Year in three straight seasons.
