Aaron Donald is one of the best players in the world at sacking the quarterback and making impact plays around the line of scrimmage. But it seems he wants to be known for more than just that.
He wants to score touchdowns.
Donald said earlier this year that he’s “been trying for six years” to get a carry as a running back, and he’s once again making his case to the Rams. He posted a video of himself jumping into a pool and catching a pass as if he were a tight end running a fade.
His caption? “I need me goal line TD this year. 🤷🏽♂️ What’s good @rams?? #versatile #ad99”
Jared Goff seems on board with the idea of Donald moonlighting as a fullback, while the Rams’ official account simply commented with the eyeballs emoji. Tyler Higbee complimented Donald’s hands by writing “Sticky’s.”
Donald looks like a jacked running back with lightning quick feet, so he would probably do well as a fullback around the goal line. It’s worth a shot at least, isn’t it?
